Fortis Investment Management was the Hong Kong asset management arm of Fortis Group, the Belgian-Dutch financial conglomerate, providing fund management, securities dealing, and investment advisory services. The firm managed institutional and retail investment portfolios, leveraging its parent group's global reach across equities, fixed income, and other asset classes. Following the near-collapse of Fortis Group during the 2008 global financial crisis and its subsequent acquisition by BNP Paribas, the investment management operations were rebranded and ultimately integrated into BNP Paribas Investment Partners. The firm no longer operates independently under the Fortis name.
