F&C Asset Management Asia Limited was the Asian subsidiary of F&C Asset Management, a well-established UK-based investment management group with a long history dating back to the Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust, one of the world's oldest investment trusts. The Hong Kong entity held an SFC licence for dealing in securities, supporting the group's regional investment activities and client servicing in Asia. F&C Asset Management was subsequently acquired by BMO Financial Group in 2014 and later integrated into Columbia Threadneedle Investments following BMO's European asset management sale. The firm no longer has active licensed personnel in Hong Kong, reflecting the restructuring of its Asian operations.
