S&P Global Ratings is the Hong Kong branch of S&P Global Ratings, one of the world's three major credit rating agencies, alongside Moody's and Fitch, and a division of S&P Global Inc. The firm provides credit ratings for sovereign entities, financial institutions, corporates, and structured finance instruments, and is SFC-licensed to provide credit rating services in Hong Kong. Its ratings are widely used by institutional investors, banks, and regulators to assess creditworthiness and are integral to the functioning of debt capital markets in Hong Kong and across Asia. S&P Global Ratings' Hong Kong office covers a large portion of Asia-Pacific credit analysis and serves as a key hub for the agency's regional rating activities.
