FIL Investment Management is the Hong Kong entity of Fidelity International (formerly Fidelity Investments' international arm), one of the world's largest and most respected independent asset managers. Its Hong Kong operations encompass active equity and fixed income fund management, securities and futures dealing in support of its investment mandates, and advisory services, with revenues driven primarily by management and performance fees. The firm serves a diverse client base including retail investors through its range of SFC-authorised mutual funds, institutional investors such as pension funds and insurers, and high-net-worth individuals. Fidelity International is particularly well known in Hong Kong for its actively managed Asia and China equity funds, as well as its participation in the MPF market.
