Lloyd George Investment Management

Lloyd George Investment Management was a well-regarded Hong Kong-based independent asset management firm founded by Robert Lloyd George, specialising in emerging markets and Asian equity investment. The firm managed equity portfolios primarily focused on Asia and frontier markets for institutional clients including pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds globally. It was a pioneer in dedicated Asian and emerging markets asset management, operating independently before eventually being acquired by BMO Global Asset Management in 2011. The firm has since ceased operating under its original name as its capabilities were integrated into BMO's broader asset management platform.
