美國雷曼兄弟證券亞洲有限公司
Lehman Brothers was a major American global investment bank that operated extensively in Hong Kong prior to its collapse in September 2008, which remains the largest bankruptcy in US history. Its Hong Kong operations covered the full spectrum of investment banking including securities dealing, derivatives, corporate finance advisory, structured products, and asset management. The firm's failure had a profound impact on Hong Kong's retail market due to the widespread mis-selling of Lehman-linked 'minibonds' — structured credit-linked notes — to tens of thousands of retail investors, triggering a significant regulatory and political crisis in the city. All SFC licences have since been surrendered and the entity has no active licensed persons.
